About Us
Nethra Kitchen started the way most home kitchens do - with cooking for family first, and friends asking why they couldn't get some too. What began as parathas and curries made for our own household slowly turned into orders for neighbours, then colleagues, then people we'd never even met who'd heard about us through word of mouth.
We're a small, pure vegetarian home kitchen based in Singapore. There's no large commercial setup here - just fresh ingredients, recipes passed down through the family, and the same care you'd expect if you were eating at someone's home rather than ordering from an app.
Every paratha is still rolled by hand. Every curry is still made in small batches, the same day it's delivered - nothing sits in a freezer waiting for an order. If you've grown up on home-cooked Indian food, or you're simply looking for something that doesn't taste like it came out of a restaurant kitchen, that's exactly what we're trying to give you.
What We Believe In
Good homemade food doesn't need shortcuts. We cook the way we would for our own family - using real ingredients, proper spice blends made from scratch, and enough patience to let a dal simmer as long as it needs to. It's slower than mass production, but it's the only way we know how to do this properly.
Serving Singapore, One Meal at a Time
What started as a handful of orders has grown into daily meals, meal plans and weekend specials for households across Singapore. We're still a small team, which means we notice the details - whether that's how spicy you like your curry or which delivery time actually works for your day.
If you're trying us for the first time, start with a paratha or one of our daily thalis. We think it'll remind you why home-cooked food is worth going back to.
